Labradorite from Madagascar is celebrated for its remarkable play of colours, known as Labradorescence.  It displays vibrant flashes of blue, green, yellow and sometimes pink or purple.  This mineral is typically dark grey to black in its raw form, only revealing its breathtaking iridescence, which shifts in intensity and hue based on the viewing angle.
